■ ANTHONY ADESITE’S 22nd-minute goal was enough to secure VCD Athletic a win over Faversham Town in the Isthmian League South East Division.
The loss continues a worrying start to the season for Faversham, who have been left as low as 18th in the league with just three points in five games.
VCD Athletic, meanwhile, with the win sit comfortably in mid-table on seven points.
What will disappoint the hosts the most is how they failed to mount a comeback, given how early in the first half that Adesite found the opener for the visitors.
