LOWESTOFT made it eight wins out of eight with a victory over Tilbury, but is was hardly an impressive performance.
Lowestoft took a 13th minute lead when Travis Cole rose unmarked to head Louis McIntosh’s corner powerfully into the roof of the net.
For Tilbury, Alex Clarke looked lively down both flanks. Darnell Kithamba shot tamely wide from 12 yards and a strong run from Chris Miller ended with Luke Holt diving full length to save.
