■ NORTHWOOD returned to winning ways as they secured their first home win since November to get their promotion challenge back on track.
Woods had spurned a couple of gilt-edged chances before they took the lead after 34 minutes through a disputed Gareth Chendlik effort, the referee ignoring appeals for handball as the ball was bundled home from close range.
Northwood continued to dominate and increased their lead after 42 minutes as James Gurteen celebrated his return to the side with a goal.
