BASILDON United saw off fellow mid-table side Bury Town at The Hive.
The visitors started the game brightly and then out of nowhere there was a massive mix up in the Bury defence and a Bury player headed into his own net.
After 32 minutes, Basildon made it 2-0. A brilliant cross from Anisius Lewis was headed back across the goal by Ellis Ashworth and Michael Salako headed home.
Bury Town started the second half well with Basildon clearing the ball off the line.
