■ A SCRAPPY game proved very comfortable for promotion chasing Ashford, ending with a player from each side being sent off. A long ball by Charlie Dickens in the 20th minute caught Bridges keeper Leo Anderson stranded off his line and Johan Ter Horst took full advantage.
A good low-cross by Gary Lockyer almost brought another, but ten minutes from time a swift counter attack sent Lockyer clear and he lobbed Anderson to clinch the three points.
