FELIXSTOWE & Walton United secured a vital three points against play-off rivals Basildon United to remain in second place in the table.
Joe Whight was the match winner after nine minutes, his back header from a Josh Hitter freekick expertly beating the visiting keeper. Hitter and Josh Mayhew could have extended the lead but just wide before the away side came more into the game as the half progressed, Kai Jude’s header just wide the closest the Bees came to a goal.
