■ MARGATE will look on this as two points dropped after Merstham scored an equaliser in the 87th minute.
Gate had early pressure with Kai Garande looking to get forward at any opportunity but the visitors defence stood fifirm. In the 18th minute Aaron Jenkins hit the crossbar for Mertsham but it was goalless at half-time.
Margate started the second half on the front foot and deservedly took the lead in the 55th minute when the impressive Garande hit a brilliant shot into the corner.
