■ TWO goals in two minutes earned Sevenoaks a winning start to 2025.
Josh Wisson broke the deadlock, scoring direct from a corner, before Warren Mfula doubled the lead, and only Phoenix keeper Max Huxter stood between the hosts and a bigger margin of victory.
He denied man-of-the match James Jeffrey a goal to cap a hard working display and young substitute George Brooke twice in the closing stages.
