■ STEYNING Town won the fifirst-ever meeting with Ashford United by the odd goal in fifive.
Ashford began the fifirst half the more lively and could have taken the lead through Preston Kedwell and Louis Collins who both saw their efforts go close.
The deadlock was broken in the 37th minute when Harvey Killick scored for the hosts and he added to his tally on the stroke of half-time.
Within three minutes of the restart Ashford United were level as Preston Kedwell scored twice in a minute.
