■CROYDON ATHLETIC, with new management at the helm, pulled off an impressive win against high flying Margate.
Brandon Pierrick’s inswinging corner in the seventh minute evaded the Margate defence and proved to be a crucial goal in Danny Kedwell’s first game in the dugout.
Margate keeper Tom Wray came rushing out in the 49th minute to foul Rams winger Kadell Daniel. The referee brandished a red card and that seemed to galvanise the home team.
