■ HYTHE TOWN are firmly rooted in the relegation zone after they drew away at Eastbourne Town.
It was a battling first half an hour from both sides as they looked for that all-important breakthrough.
For the hosts, Alfie Simmons had a venomous strike well saved by Hythe goalkeeper Joe Coleman.
Hythe ended the first half strongly as they piled on the pressure but some excellent Eastbourne defending kept them out.
After the break, few chances were created as the game petered out.
