A LATE charge from Kingstonian wasn’t enough to salvage a point in a tame affair as Hayes held out to move closer to the play-off spots.
Hayes had the better chances in the first half and could have been one up but Amaru Kaunda’s shot was cleared off the line.
After the break, Hayes went up a gear and opened the scoring midway through the second half when a throw in from the right landed to Kaylen Hinds and he drilled a left footed shot into the corner.
