■ AFC PORTCHESTER fought back from both a man and goal down to grab all three points and leapfrog their injury-hit opponents in a fiercely contested game in front of a decent crowd.
It took the Royals into the top half for the first time in their debut season.
Both sides started slowly but after 32 minutes the game exploded when Royals defender Jack Lee was dismissed for a last ditch tackle on Erick Kenko. It got worse as shortly afterwards defender the Met’s Ekow Owusu- Boakye converted a right wing cross.
