FOLKESTONE clinched a convincing-looking victory with three unanswered goals in the final 28 minutes.
But they had to ride their luck in a busy first half for their defence and keeper.
The Scholars had most of the early play and Brad Sach almost took advantage of good work by Josh Hutchinson but was foiled by Invicta keeper Tim Roberts.
And just before the half-hour mark, Sach had a fine effort pushed onto the bar by Roberts.
