Danny Bloor appointed new Hastings United manager

The Non-League Paper Groundhopper

Danny Bloor has replaced Chris Agutter as manager of Pitching In Isthmian Premier side Hastings United.

The former Eastbourne Borough boss has been out of work since being sacked by National League South outfit Welling United in January.

He will become Hastings’ fourth manager in just over a year. Agutter’s second spell in charge ended after seven months when he replaced Aarran Racine at Worthing earlier this month.

Bloor has been appointed on a two-year contract.

He told the club’s official website:

“I am delighted to accept the position of First Team Manager of Hastings United. For me the fans are the most important people at a football club and Hastings without a shadow of a doubt has the best and I am so looking forward to meeting them.

“This is a proper football club with proper football people involved and I can’t wait to follow on the great work Chris has started.

“There will be no wholesale changes, we have a fantastic squad in place.”
