Buoyed by victory over Brighton & Hove Albion U21s in the Sussex Senior Cup semi-final on Tuesday, Jack Strange’s opener for Horsham condemned Hendon to a 20-match winless run in the Isthmian League Premier.
The victory extended the Hornets’ buffer over fourth-placed Cray Valley PM to four points, the same margin separating them from current league leaders Dartford.
Horsham boss Dom Di Paola told The NLP that he was mindful of his side’s profligacy.
