ASHTON UNITED have been boosted by news that Rochdale firm GR8 Sports have extended their kit and equipment partnership with the club.

The Evo-Stik NPL Premier Robins have been supplied by GR8 Sports for three years and they have signed a new deal that will see them continue for another three years.

Ashton vice-chairman Steve Hobson said: “We have partnered with GR8 Sports for the past three years and the level of service has been exemplary.

“Nothing has been too much trouble for the team at GR8 and we are entirely satisfied with the relationship. Ashton United is pleased to announce a new three year partnership.”

Paul Marr, managing director of GR8 Sports, added: “We are delighted that Ashton United has extended our link for another three year period.

“We have been able to support their ambition with high quality kit and equipment and they in turn have helped us generate new custom and build up our brand awareness. The partnership has proven to be a great success for both parties.”

Meanwhile, the Robins have signed striker Ben Wharton from Warrington Town and Ben McKenna on loan from Stalybridge Celtic.
