Curtis Woodhouse is back in management after taking the job at Step 4 side Tadcaster Albion,
Woodhouse enjoyed a highly distinguished playing career, playing over 350 games for Sheffield United, Birmingham City, Rotherham United, Peterborough United, Hull City and Grimsby Town. Captaining every club apart from the Blues.
Since hanging up his boots, Woodhouse has gone on to manage in Non-League within a range of clubs including the likes of Sheffield FC, AFC Goole, Hull United and more recently at Bridlington Town.
He is also the former British light-welterweight champion, having won 24 of his 31 fights.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Woodhouse said, “I’m absolutely delighted to be appointed as the manager of Tadcaster Albion, it’s a fantastic football club and one I’ve admired from afar for sometime.
“After sitting down with the club and discussing different things the passion they had for the football club really blew me away and when the role was offered it was a no brainier for me. I’m looking forward to the fans forum on Wednesday night to talk in more detail about the plans moving forward,
“I hope as many fans as possible can attend and feel free to ask me anything you want. In football you can never promise results or anything like that as it’s a funny old game as they say but one thing I can promise is I’ll be giving 100% and I’ll be demanding the same from my players”
