CLUBS UNITE IN MEMORY OF ‘MR UCL’

A MAN once dubbed “Mr United Counties League” is to be honoured by a charity memorial game between the two clubs that he supported.
Jeremy Biggs, who was the league’s press officer and registration director, died suddenly in November 2016.
He was club secretary for Stamford AFC and also spent much time with United Counties One side Blackstones, who also play in the Lincolnshire town. Each season he visited every club in the league, and compiled their weekend round-up for The NLP.
The two clubs will now meet in a pre-season game at Blackstones’ ALH Recruitment Stadium...
