ALTRINCHAM have been the model of consistency under Phil Parkinson and it will take a minor miracle for them not to celebrate promotion back into National League North.
More league wins (24), more goals (88) and fewer defeats (7) than anyone else, no one can deny the Robins don’t deserve their leap back into Step 2.
Eight points clear at the top, their remaining games are favourable also, although a tricky trip to fellow promotion-chasers Shaw Lane and Grantham Town in the space of two days will test their mettle.
