CHAMPIONS-elect Altrincham took a step closer to promotion with a thumping win over mid-table Barwell.
Two goals just before, and after half time, saw the Robins dominate against a decent Canaries side.
The visitors should have been two up inside 20 minutes – first Brady Hickey headed Craig Stanley’s corner over, then Edward Nisevic volleyed Owen Story’s low cross just wide.
But from then on, Altrincham turned on the style.
