Dales delivers sparkling form

THIS was a game with a real end-of-season feel to it. At times it was feisty and at others non-descript and lacking in real action.
The game also featured a referee who was very quick to lecture and point at players but initially slow to book them, which may have been responsible for the quality of the match.
Although both teams were professional and workmanlike, the game struggled to burst into life during a quiet and disappointing first half.
