BOSS DOWN – AND OUT!

PAUL Down has quit as manager of Western League Division One outfit Chard Town – because there’s nothing for the club to play for!
The notorious slope on the Zembard Lane pitch means the club can not enter FA competitions or get promoted due to ground grading.
Down has been replaced by former Sherborne skipper and Chard player Jamie Manley, while another former Sherborne manager, Kevin Leigh, will continue on as his assistant.
