Whitby new boys Gell in bright start

JUST four started from the Whitby side that contested this fixture on the final day of last season, so it was no surprise when one of the new boys, Adam Gell, netted the winner.
Like many of Town’s summer signings, Gell is returning to the Turnbull Ground for a second spell and for team-mate Dale Hopson, it’s a third go.
Hopson’s through ball released Gell on the edge of the box, after a lovely move, culminating in Gell’s 23rd minute curler into the top-right corner.
