TWO first-half goals and a man-of-the-match display from young goalkeeper James Hodges were enough to give Hyde the points.
Luke Porritt netted on 21 minutes and centreforward Tom Greaves’ first-half stoppage-time header proved the decisive goal, despite Ben Turner’s header just before the hour mark.
The hosts had the better of the early chances, with Porritt going close on 16 minutes when his shot was deflected narrowly wide by Sports’ Tom Burgin.
Five minutes later, he put Hyde in front when he fired Greaves’ pass past Lewis K...
