THE game was virtually decided by half-time with Witton three goals ahead.
The first goal was a controversial penalty when Ben Leyland was adjudged to have fouled Matty Devine. James Foley sent Lewis Exall the wrong way.
The decision deflated Ferriby and Witton upped the pressure. Danny McKenna, on the right, and Foley on the left created problems for Ferriby’s defence and midfield.
The second goal came from Ferriby giving the ball away in midfield and Billy Smart was allowed to slide the ball past Exall.
