Crook locks out Matlock

MATLOCK held Hyde to a tense goalless draw despite starting the day with the division’s worst defensive record.
The hosts were always the more dangerous and were unfortunate not to be in front after dominating long spells of the opening half.
After the interval, Hyde came more into the game but still did not deserve anything more than their hard-earned point.
Most of the chances came in the first period. Hyde keeper Peter Crook blocked Craig King’s near post effort on ten minutes.
