Church prayers are answered in victory

ALVECHURCH defeated Barwell to leapfrog their hosts in the table.
The visitors had a good chance to open the scoring early on. Josh Ezwele made a good run into the box but his shot hit the side netting rather than the net.
Barwell responded to this quickly with top scorer Brady Hickey forcing a save from Matthew Sargeant.
The game then became a tactical battle, with both teams matching each other, while failing to create chances. That changed ten minutes before half-time though, when Barwell failed to clear a corner and allowed Josh March to tap the ball...
