MALKIN KEEPS HOPES ALIVE

JOE Malkin’s strike 18 minutes from time was enough to keep alive Nantwich’s hopes of the title.
Nantwich looked the more likely winners with Matlock goalkeeper Ross Grant the busier of the two goalkeeper but fine margins often decide games and this was the case.
The visitors began the game on the front foot but there were few clear cut chances until Ross Durrant changed direction to save superbly to his left from Malkin.
