ALBION’S LATE SHOW SINKS THE SEADOGS

A LATE second half fightback from Witton Albion secured all three points against Scarborough Athletic at a windswept Wincham Park.
The hosts almost took the lead early on when captain Rob Hopley hit the post with a header from a long throw by Anthony Gardner.
But it was Scarborough who opened the scoring from their first real attack of the game after 19 minutes. A break down the left saw the ball find its way to striker James Walshaw who calmly slotted past Witton ‘keeper Greg Hall from close range.
