HYDE United claimed an impressive three points as title favourites South Shields dropped their first points of the season.
Liam Tongue scored what proved to be the only goal when he finished from inside the box on 70 minutes. South Shields drew a blank and were knocked off the top of the table as the Tigers triumphed.
