MATLOCK boss Steve Kittrick was delighted after his side remained firmly in the promotion picture by ending Whitby’s winning run at eight games and string of clean sheets at six.
The home side have been in outstanding form but they ran into a Matlock side who were in the mood and in their groove.
It got the Gladiators back to winning ways havein fallen to current leaders South Shields a fortnight ago.
