SHEFFIELD PLAY OUT SIX-GOAL THRILLER

THE NOVUS Stadium played host to a six-goal thriller as Kidsgrove Athletic and Sheffield FC shared the spoils in the BetVictor Northern South East Division.
Following a tentative start to proceedings, visitors Sheffield took the lead in the 28th minute when Cody Prior’s soft shot from range eluded the Kidsgrove backline and bundled into the back of the net.
But the Grove rallied and levelled terms just six minutes later, as Ruben Wiggins-Thomas reacted quickest to a fine Johnathan Hedge save and prodded home.
