SCARBOROUGH Athletic opened up their 2020 home campaign with a 1-1 home draw with high-flying Stalybridge Celtic.
The game started at a fast and frantic pace, but without any real chances to show.
The hosts had the first meaningful effort, James Walshaw shooting well wide.
It was the visitors who took the lead, three minutes before half-time, Darius Osei finishing at close range after a slight melee in the box, in what was the only meaningful chance of the half.
