OSSETT United resisted late pressure from Dunston FC to hold onto a 2-1 victory and claim back to back wins in the league.
Dunston’s Scott Hislop’s shot on five minutes was well saved by goalkeeper Brett Souter while Ossett’s Luke Porritt’s free-kick on eight minutes went wide.
Ossett went close yet again as Marco Basic’s shot was saved by Dunston goalkeeper Karl Dryden.
Andy Monkhouse’s header on 44 minutes opened the scoring for United and Tom Greaves doubled the lead just a minute later.
