CARL MACAULEY admitted it had felt as if time stood still while watching his Witton side protect a slender lead against Atherton Collieries.
Maximum points, after a sequence of six games without winning, felt precious. “I’m relieved, that’s for sure,” said Macauley. “It’s been tough, really tough in fact, the past few weeks.”
