RAMS RAID ON KENDAL

RAMSBOTTOM United kept up their promotion charge after battling back from to defeat Kendal Town and stay in second place.
Despite their position at the wrong end of the table, Kendal created plenty of chances including a free header by Emil Jaaskelainen while Kieran Maguire saw his long-distance effort hit the crossbar.
Kendal continued to press during the second half and Jaaskelainen went close again before he opened the scoring, firing into the bottom corner.
