Buzzing Bucks fizz with fab four

THE first league meeting between the clubs in 47 years provided rich entertainment for the 395 in attendance at sunny Buxton.
There was a full team of debutants shared between the clubs, but it was the Bucks who enjoyed the better of the early exchanges with James Walshaw netting at close range, with Chris Dawson similarly finishing off incisive passing moves on 17 and 36 minutes respectively.
In between Matt Crothers confidently netted a 29th-minute penalty after home keeper Tommy Taylor brought down Jean Louis Akpa-Akpro at the edge of the area.
