SEASIDERS TURN THE TIDE WITH A SWAGGER

THERE was a time when Whitby Town will have groaned at the prospect of visiting Witton Albion – but no longer.
The Seasiders have prevailed now on three of their past five visits to Northwich, the latest a stroll in the September sunshine.
That they were able to canter was in part due to the brilliance of keeper Shane Bland.
He produced smart stops, pushing to safety Will Jones’ drive in the first half before calling on his instincts to tip over Billy Smart’s header in the second, to keep the teams tied.
