■ALEX CURTIS scored one and made one in Chasetown’s fine away win.
The visitors deservedly took the lead in the 38th minute, Connor Haddaway beating the offside trap to unselfishly pick out Curtis who side-footed in.
Chasetown doubled their lead on the hour. Curtis’s original corner was cleared, but his second cross was headed home by Kris Taylor inside the six-yard box.
Spalding pulled one back with 20 minutes left when a near-post corner was headed home by substitute Spencer Weir-Daley.
