ATHERTON COLLERIES collected all three points in a tight and scrappy affair thanks to a set-piece goal ten minutes from time in this league opener at the newly named Project Solar UK stadium.

The Tigers started the better of the two sides in the opening 20 minutes, with the majority of chances falling to key man Tom Pratt. He created multiple attempts at goal but Hyde failed to take the lead as Atherton keeper Luke Hutchinson made some fine saves.
