MARSKE United started the season with a win after a closely-fought game against Cleethorpes Town.

A tight first half saw few opportunities, with Matty Tymon’s turn and shot after 15 minutes well saved by Cleethorpes keeper Tom Jackson.
Marske went ahead 18 seconds into the second half when Tymon bundled home from close range — the referee overruling his assistant who had initially flagged for offside.
