SHILDON kicked their season off with a bang, scoring four goals in an emphatic victory over Pickering Town thanks to a Will McCamley penalty, a Chay Liddle brace and an effort from Joe Posthill.

The result comes as a surprise, or more so the nature of it, when considering that the home side were down to 10 men for just under an hour of the game, with Ben Trotter receiving a red card in the 23rd minute.
The sending off did not impact Shildon, who went onto sweep Pickering Town aside in comfortable fashion.
