AN enthralling game somehow finished goalless at the VanEupen Arena.

Liverpool started brightly, with Zac Aley whipping a ball in for Mitch Bryant, but his flick goalwards was always rising.
The Purps then created the best chance of the half. Stephen Rigby broke through from Mitch Bryant’s through ball. He raced away one on one, but blazed high and wide.
Jamie Rother’s looping header for the Rams clipped the bar with keeper Theo Roberts stranded.
