HALESOWEN claimed an opening-day victory at Cambridge City.

All the goals came in the first half, but it was City who went closest early on when a long range effort from Mikey Davis went over the bar.
The deadlock was broken shortly after when Lewis Wright was picked out on the edge of the area and drilled a shot past goalkeeper Dan George.
