Frickley Athletic 0-1 Ossett United: Early goal wins it for visitors

■ AN early goal saw Ossett United just shade it over local rivals Frickley in front of a Friday night crowd of more than 460.
The best chance of the opening 15 minutes was an angled shot by Ossett’s James Walshaw, palmed around a post by Ben Bottomley.
But Ossett took the lead after 20 minutes when Reon Potts slotted in from close range.
Frickley came back into it before half-time with a Kegan Everington effort saved and a Joe Stacey shot deflected wide.
