■ GLOSSOP NORTH END and managerless Widnes played out a dour draw at the Amdec Forklift Stadium.
In truth, neither side ever looked like scoring in a contest between teams struggling for form and goals.
Glossop’s best chance came after 34 minutes when Shakeel Jones-Griffiths forced a smart stop out of Owen Wheeler.
Widnes perhaps edged the second half, but as close as they came to a winner was substitute Louis Danquah’s effort that was beaten away by Harry Allen.
