SUFFERING BLUES ARE AT THEIR WITT’S END

WHITBY suffered a fourth straight defeat going into their big Yorkshire Coast derby with neighbours Scarborough on Tuesday.
The Blues will hope for better luck going forward, in midweek as a flurry of chances were missed.
Despite starting all three forwards for the first time this season, it was the defenders called into action first as Jawad Jebrin fired just wide for Witton, from just inside the box.
At the other end, goalkeeper Greg Hall denied Marcus Giles and Hall’s opposite number Shane Bland saved low from Callum Saunders.
