GRANTHAM Town’s determination and resolve gave them a narrow win at Broadhurst Park.
A 34th minute header from Jonathan Wafula was ultimately the difference between the two sides, but FC United had enough opportunities to get something from the afternoon.
Grantham created the first chance of note, when Ali Ademir forced FCUM keeper Dan Lavercombe into a good, low, left-handed save on 12 minutes.
