■ HEBBURN Town leap- frogged Lincoln United with a win in front of a terrific crowd.
With eight minutes gone, the Hornets opened the scoring as Olly Martin’s long shot was deflected in by Owen Sheriff. Martin was played through one-on-one shortly after, firing just wide.
Connor Bell doubled the advantage after 36 minutes with a daring counter and firing into the top corner.
Josh Nichol fouled Dylan Archer and was judged to have been the last man, which made life harder for the visitors.
Lincoln still pegged one back through a driven Rob Smith effo...
